  Aaaaah man.... The birria de chivo is excellent. The home made tortillas are on point. I need to get back to check out the menudo, but if the other dishes I've had are telling, this place is a gem. For the record, I think the birria plate con consume is the way to go, but the one that comes as a stew is bomb too.

  As a straight up 100% gringo I could make better Mexican food than I ate here.
  
  I had the carne asada plate which on the menu is on a large ceramic plate but came on a styrofoam plate with plastic forks (which I snapped and cut through because the meat was so tough and chewy)  The meal came with elementary school cafeteria portion sides of rice and beans (which were very bland, even for beans and rice). This is the first time I ever needed to add salt a mexican food plate. Also had a lengua taco and was surely disappointed, I didnt even care to finish it but I was starving.
  
  Two stars because my girlfriend enjoyed her chicken tacos, which I tried and were decent... and the food came out quickly, as we were in a hurry for the movies.

  It's not that the food was bad, but it had no flavor. I'm used to the meat being seasoned enough, but the pollo didn't even have salt and the carne asada was dry and it wasn't tasty. I could make better tacos at home :/ the enchiladas were very bland and had no taste whatsoever just like the salsa's. I'm not even trying to hate on this place, I was just super disappointed.

  Their chicken soup is BOMB. Worth 5 stars on its own. But holy shit the service is fucking terrible. I called at 8 for just the soup. That's it! And it's 8:38 now and I still have no soup. I'm still waiting on the soup. I paid already or I would have just left... an 8 dollar donation crossed my mind but that's fucking 8 whole dollars! I can't just leave... so here I am. 8:39 and still no soup. What's the point of calling in when they got me waiting out here for another 30 mins. Ridiculous.

  I ordered my food and sat down to wait for it.
  The restaurant was about 3/4 full. Pretty busy.
  This lady was mopping nonstop. She must have gone around the inside about four times mopping the dirty foot prints cause by her constant mopping. The floor was wet the whole time I was there and with all the foot traffic the dirty footprints were never ending.
  This was rather annoying to myself and the other customers.
